Our Story

At Culinary Natives, we believe the best meals are the ones shared with those you love! There's no better place to gather, than in the backyard at sunset, with a cold beer, a fired-up grill, and the aroma of smoke and meat.

We're more than just a BBQ gear and smoker accessories company. We're an all-American community of backyard grillers, pitmasters, and smoker enthusiasts bonded by a love of mouthwatering meats and sun-tinted summers.

Our story started with two childhood friends, Pete and Hamish, determined to share their obsession with all-American BBQ. Competing for who could smoke the best rack, the most succulent pulled pork, or create the tangiest and most delectable sauce.

To aid them on their quest, it then became a hunt for the best grill tools.

As their skills and talents progressed, it became a mission to build and develop the best grill and smoker kits on the market today.

In early 2018, they had an idea, and day and night, they tinkered in the garage—where all of the best ideas start. The coals had been ignited, and they set to work designing the perfect BBQ gear that would not only improve their skills, but allow them to share epic meals with their family & friends through the love of BBQ.

Rolling forward to 2025, our goal is now to create the perfect tools to improve your BBQ and meat smoking experience. Whether you're a seasoned pitmaster, or just a greenhorned griller or smoker enthusiast, there's always a spot for you at our table.
